few things make me ache to be in high school again--not that i minded the struggle, but i'm happy where i am now--but watching this video is one of them. to see fugaze perform glue man live was an experience.

very cool! I remember when Fugzai came through Eugene here and I didn't find out about it in time enough to get off of work. I actually found out while I was AT work, so it made it even worse. Only time that I personally heard of them coming through while I was in town. (*They certainly could have came through other times without me hearing about it as I was pretty busy with bands and stuff of my own..)

i have had the privilege of seeing fugazi 15 times (bein in their hometown during their heyday was pretty awesome. lotta shows were part of demonstrations, rallies, good causes. it's funny, cus seeing them in other places--boston and columbia, south caroline, for example--there was a very different tenor to their shows. they really challenged host crowds to demonstrate the type of respect that accompanied their d.c. shows (and most of their shows, i imagine). great, great band. seeing them over a span of about 15 years, never paid more than five bucks to see 'em...
