Milla Jovovich, an actress who specializes in action, returns in the latest in a franchise that insists upon an afterlife. She is out to find survivors after most of the world has been ravaged by a virus that has turned humans into the Undead. She, perhaps foolishly, chooses Los Angeles as a haven from the Undead, only to find that Hollywood is overrun with such creatures. {hey, we already knew that). ;)

I was just at the Universal's Halloween Horror Nights film contest page and I watched the craziest film. It is called "Suffering in Ecstasy" and it is basically just a bunch of fast edits of a girl cutting herself up. It is an AWESOME bloody mess. It stands out among the others there by a mile. Got my vote.

I am trying to find out if the guy who made it has made anything else. His name is Jason Karten... and this guy must have a screw loose or something. I really want to see if he has more films. Please help!

Hallow Wine or Werewolf Merlot

Honestly, if you are looking to bring a little bit of awesomely themed alcohol to the part, Hallow wine (which is as good as it sounds) made by the Illinois River Winery is pretty awesome, and you could always go for a good Werewolf wine, which is made in Romania. ;)

Just a few suggestions if you are trying to think of what to bring to the Halloween party! :D

This forum seems like a cool hangout. OK, I did write a couple of sci-fi/horror novels.. but that was years ago. Now I'm slowly getting back on my feet again to write some more. I just finished a short story and made a youtube trailer for it, which I will post in the self promo area.

Best fog machines

I am looking to upgrade my cemetary scene in the yard with a better fog machine than the current walmart unit I have. I am looking at the Chauvet 1300 Hurricane and the Vei 935. I've heard good and bad about both does anyone have any experience with either of these ? My budget is around $150, I can get the Chauvet for $127 delivered the Vei is about $170.

Haunted House Question

Hi everyone! I use to be a member here yearssssss ago, but forgot my login password and my old email, so had to make a new account. Anyway, I have a question that hopefully someone can answer.

My husband and I have a two story house, but we only really use the upstairs. Our basement is finished, and has two exits. We are wanting to host a haunted house this year downstairs, and in our fenced in back yard. We live in a very small town and there is a community haunted house but other than that, there are no other options for people to enjoy without driving an hour away.

Do my husband and I need to obtain any sort of license or permit in order to have a haunted house on our own property? We are wanting to have it a few weekends in October. We live in Illinois, if this helps. I am not even sure who I would need to contact around here to find out. Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!
