Minor update: over time I've collected quite a few other photos aside from the one originally mentioned. I've got some very old lynching photos, death camp corpse piles, various mutilations, a couple of celebrities, a bunch of non-mutilation train track accidents(some of them were believed to have been dropped there, though) and if you want I might be able to find some of the photos of Jack The Ripper's victims corpses. though, being how old they are, they have very bad quality compared to other ones of mine.

Another minor uptade that I forgot to include- I also have a photo of a combatant shot in the forehead by a very powerfull Sniper Rifle, which made his head split apart. you ought to like that one, seeing as brains are supposedly a zombie's favored organ. I'll get them to you in a minute here...

LMAO!! I used to have one picture of a couple chicks with their legs blown off, and bodies so charred that there was hardly anything left, I'm not sure what happened to it now. you might like Rotten.com, they have some pretty gruesome pictures in their news articles sometimes. that's where I got the Sniper one, in fact.

The stuff is real alright, you just need to know where to look. The internet literally has everything. I admit I use to browse rotten.com on occasion due mostly to curiosity. Honestly though I think its important to remember whats real and whats not. Being entertained about someone getting gutted in a movie is one thing but when its real its not entertaining and it is nothing to joke about. If you do find these things entertaining or funny I think you need to step back from the horror genre and maybe seek some sort of therapy.

I agree. Writing about gore or watching it in the movies is one thing. Salivating over real death is sick. I can watch gore all day in the movies but in real life a cut finger makes me whoozy.

That's because the news is public, anyone will be watching it. They still keep it as clean as possible. As Malachai said, you just have to know where to find it.

By the way, it's not actually a crime scene, I was wrong. The guy fell off of a building. I can tell by the way his leg split open.

Television and the internet are two very different forms of media. I could go to Iraq today, take a picture of a dead guy and upload to the internet with my home computer and everyone in the world (that has internet access) would be able to see it. We don't have that kind of freedom with television. And the internet is just too vast to undergo the strict regulations and censorship given to television. While individual sites can be moderated it is impossible to do so with the entire internet and if someone wants something online they put it online.
