The weekend of halloween my family and I are hosting a party. Naturally this is the perfect excuse for me to go all out on the backyard. The only problem I have is this giant pool in our backyard. I can't find anything to do with it. So far I've purchased red dye to add to the water and a red lens cap for the pool light. I fiddled with the idea of running fog over the top but the fog never stands a chance against the wind. I also toyed with the idea of dropping huge chunks of dry ice into the pool but as you can imagine this is costly and doesn't last long. Any ideas on how i can decorate this giant swimming pool would be greatly appreciated.

How about filling it with the biggest rubber/blow up bugs that you can find? Put a bunch of fake or real leaves in there making it seem like some kind of swamp! Maybe some green slimey gunk can be added to the pool as well (like green silly string)!! Also, make some kind of grisely body prop that is missing his head and or other parts of this body? Plastic eye balls floating around would be cool too! Dollar stores have alot of these things!! Keep us informed of what you do!

Stretch a camo net that you can get from a military surplus over it, if you can , add an alligator, the cheapest way to get one of these is not from a prop house, but instead through a taxidermy supply, you can paint it cheaply yourself, and it will give you years of enjoyment:D
