Okay I know, the movie looks ridiculous and hella lame...

But go to snakesonaplane.com

You can have Samuel L Jackson Call your friends and family to tell them about how great this movie is gonna be. It is HILARIOUS!!!! Try it, you can preview what your call is gonna sound like and it will have you laughing all day. Expecially if you watch Chappelle's Show and have seen the Samuel Jackson beer commercial he did.

About a year ago, they announced the name of this movie on the internet. Everyone started talking about it because of how stupid the title is. Now there are "Snakes on a plane" party's in almost every major city. I dont see this movie breaking any records, but it will definitly generate some serious cash because of the attention that its getting. Behold the power of the internet.

I will likely be working the movie tomorrow. We usually dress up for opening weekend of the new movies, but I don't have the cash to dress like a pilot. Maybe I will find some rubber snakes today and attach them to myself...I'm really just not into this one.

Yeah the movie looks like crap...

Like Deep Blue Sea in the sky with snakes...

*lol* Which is funny because in the preview, Samuel L actually kills a snake...with a HARPOON gun...

Hell I can't even take a pack of cardboard matches onto a plane and he kills one with a harpoon gun...wonder how you would declare that?

Also in the preview it shows a stewardess swinging a fire axe...

When, in any event, on a plane... would you need a fire axe? On a plane?

They said I'd have to keep my nail clippers in my carry on bag, and this chick was swinging a fire axe...

Yeah... I'm already tired of making fun of this one, I'll be saving my money.

I wont be going to see it either...but you know they will make a sequal because this one is so popular. And "straight to video" already ripped it off by making Snakes on a Train. How sad is that?

That's ridiculously sad...

Wow... Is America that full of corproate whores and marketing fodder?

I make ten dollars an hour, these people prolly get 5 or 6 figures a year to come up with this shite... All I'd need is one.

I heard about a movie theatre/restaurant that is having zoo people with live snakes in their lobby. As a previous snake owner ,this just seems wrong to me. Snakes can carry salmonella and mites. You wouldn't bring live chickens into a restaurant!?! People shouild also be forewarned that there will be snakes onhand. Not everyone thinks they are cool. People have been known to have heart attacks over seeing a live snake where they didn't expect to. This whole thing just seems irresponsible to me.

Well it depends on how it's done, I own multiple snakes, as well as multiple kinds of snakes. If you know before going in, there's gonna be snakes, then you can make the decision to go in or not. As far as mites, should not have them, so if there is a snake with mites, then it ofcourse should be treated as a sick snake and treatment given. As far as salmonella, that can be an issue, but only if the patrons are meant to be handling them without hand washing.

I'm not arguing that this could be a potentially bad idea, but in my experience with snake, it's better a restarant full of cute little bunnies...mammals are just plain gorss.

Yeah, the point is that you know before you go. You at least then have the option of avoiding the snakes. If you have ever been to the Houston zoo then you might wonder about the condition of the animals and the handler. Yes, our zoo sucks. I'm from Tulsa, and we had an awesome zoo. I had a neighbor who designed much of the zoo there, and traveled the country doing R&D for future zoo projects. He said that many zoos don't provide the animals with adequate room to roam like their natural habitat. Houston is like that. The animals are really confined, hard to see, and many sick or in quarantine. I gave up on the zoo here. They do anything for money, including snakes in a restaurant. There was even a two page newspaper article on the event featuring a local waiter holding a snake in the restaurant.

Well so long as they wash their hands and everything and the snakes are tested for mites, I would eat there without worry. But then I'm an avid snake lover so... ^.^

Sucks about the state of the Zoo as a whole though... breaks my heart

That movie was by far one of the lamest I've seen along with Frankenfish and Snakeman.
