Cramped Haunt

Hey every year my band puts on a haunt in a local buisness, and there are 8 groups with aprox. 5-8 people in each which have to each come up with their own rooms in the haunt's walkthrough. I get a longish, narrow, rectangular room at the beginning, that last year i took some pvc pipe and fabric and divided it into two mini hallways, so that the guests could choose their destiny. I had a problem last year, I put someone else in charge of hallway #2 because I was working on #1, and the other side was a disaster so we had to shut it down all three nights. I need some good ideas for my 2 hallways, because I will just have to be the leader of both hallways. Anyone have any good ideas or whatever that would scare the $%!^ out of my guests?

Yeah as soon as they get into a hallway, either one or two, you have some sort of door that shuts behind them, locking them in, and from behind the door, have someone in like a hockey mask or with a burlap bag around their head burst out behind them cranking a revving chainsaw (take the chain off ofcourse so it's just to motor making those loud chainsaw sounds and no one gets hurt) and chase them out the exit of the hall, this will also bewilder and frighten the people opposite side of the wall from those being chased. That's one hallway idea...if I think of more Ideas, I'll post em here for you

well what theme do you want to do for the hallways. if you want to go with mass murderer(sp?) then on the one side have a guy on a stretcher with is internals on the side, then when they get close to it, have someone with a doctor suit on and a bloddy hacksaw telling them to get out or he'll kill them!!!!

Or on the onse side, much like Haunting suggests, just have a munch of like zombie arms grabbing at guts and organs, then whikle they are watching the opposite side, have zombie arms grab them from behind while they are distracted. Gets em every time!

cool ideas guys... Hey i just came up with a great idea for one of the halls: put a "dead" someone in a tup of "blood" (red styrophome) next to a strobe light so that they can't tell that is is foam, then they jump at the people...

and unfortunatley, we already have a chainsaw dude outside who sacares people back to the front of the haunt... hehehe
