I really could use an idea

So, I'm an officer for my schools drama club, and we throwing a Halloween party. I had the idea for the officers (9 of us) to create some sort of really, really scary thing to do, and freak out all the other people at the party. BUt sadly, none of us can think of anything good. So if anyone has an idea of some thing, please share! Keep in mind, we're in a fairly small theater, there will be over 50 people at the party, and we are a drama club, so we have all the costumes, props, and lights in the world available to us. hmmm since you're in a theatre, do something to make the lights go out, or the curtains raise without people knowing you're there, lol. messing around with things like that could be cool.
