Hi all...Recently I caught the movie Dreamcatcher on tv. I think it was a made for tv movie, cuz I dont recall hearing about it on the big screen. Has anyone seen it? Had some special effects like crazy, and gore, definitely had gore. I wouldnt say it was the best I've ever seen, far from it, but it was really good. Though strange as always when its done by Mr. King.

DO NOT WATCH IT, EVER! It was in the theaters, actually, it was a big movie back then. It was one of my favorite Stephen King books ever... the movie was worse than the Shining in terms of how close it was to the book. I was really looking forward to a part where there is a huge riot... they totally left it out of the film. It sucks, even for people who didn't read the book! My friends, who don't even read Stephen king books, said it sucked! DO NOT WATCH IT!

I just looked it up again, it is on DVD. I know it's also a book, but I've never read the book. I have a hard enough time watching his movies at times....lol Here is a link I found about it, maybe you can check it out there...Personally, I think it would be a good one to play on Halloween night at a party. The poor drunks would turn sober, real quick...lol

Thanks, Iscream! I don't usually try to turn people off of movies, but Dreamcatcher deserves it. Do yourself a favor and read the book!
