Whats the worst Halloween you've ever had??

Mine was probably last year, my costume was rubbish, people didnt bother opening their doors to me and my friends when we were trick or treating.
Hopefully this year it'll be much better!!

Other than Halloween clothes, I have not been able to get dressed in costume since that horrible Halloween. I chose not to dress up that day at work (did not want to scare my mom) and I was flooded with emails, calls and personal appearances at that day, on why I was not dressed for Halloween. Needless to say all I could do was cry to them.

Hey Red - I can sympathize with you on that. My mom died on October 30th five years ago. I went over to her apartment to drop off her clothes that I washed and she was slumped over in her wheelchair dead. She was a diabetic and apparently she had a heart attack. It was the most horrible thing I ever seen and had to go through. I feel for ya. :(

I'm so sorry to hear about your mothers Red and De... I hope you feel better. I know it will never stop hurting, but I hope it gets better. But let's try to cheer up! My worst halloween was when I was in I think 2nd or 3rd grade and my sister Sandra (4th or 5th grade at the time) and Ashley (6th or 7th grade at the time) went trick or treating. We went up to this house and some guy was standing behind a tall bush against the house and he popped out at us with an axe! Then to make matters worse when we left, they literally dug a really deep hole in the ground for a man to stand in! His hand was sticking out then he jumped out of the whole and he looked all dead and he chased us up the block! I was soooo fricken scared... you don't even know.

mine was where me and my friend walked up to this guys huse and he was like, " u have to come in if u want candy" i was smart and told him no so he threw our candy at us...while we were leaving we heard someone behind us and saw a shadowy figure...it was following us....we ran and the person sped up until we got to the next house....it was so hard to run in those rain soaked goth pants lemme tell u! then we wnet down a street with a grave yard near it.....totally creepy...i'm sry to all who have lost their parents...peace b with u...

I think last year would rank right up there for bad Halloweens. It rained solid for two days before Halloween. With a small house like mine, I count on those days outside for major scene building. I was outside under tarps each of those nights till three in the morning freezing my butt off and praying for the paint to dry. Halloween day itself had great weather, but I was only able to put up about 1/3 of the haunt, and I was physically spent. Lesson: Build ahead of time, cover with tarps, screw the neighbors who complain about a yard full of tarp covered props.
