He has no use for her now except to cook and clean,
he stays forever violent and mean.
He forgets her birthday, never giving her a card or a call,
she keeps sinking lower and lower, until she can't walk, but fall.
She found a friend who asked her if he can be her Mr. Right.
Seems he died and never returned, failing to re-find the light.
Broken promises keep invading her mind,
she wishes she could go back in time.
In time where she never fell for him,
or got caught up in his silly love grin.
No more attention he gives to her,
she is the past and nothing but a blur.
Back on her feet she rises from the ashes,
until those memories come back into her head and clashes.
Clashing and clashing like a bad movie,
she once thought he was groovy!
She was a means to and end and now she is re-born,
she is tired of crying every 'morn.
Her emails will stop and so will the gifts,
never feeling his kiss, upon her lips.
Close up the past and seal it shut,
she must make herself happy and get out of this rut.
