ever wake up paralyzed?

Once I was sleeping and had a horrific dream where my heart stopping and I was dying. I kept hearing my voice whispering "I'm dying, I'm dying,..." until I woke up screaming. But thought I was dead, or dying, because I was unable to move a muscle in my body, except to breathe.

Then after the terryifying moments of immobilization left (five seconds to a minute... how could I tell?), I jumped out of bed and turned on my lamp, huffing and puffing from the fear of being dead.

Just wondering if anybody else ever had such a frightenning thing happen to them?

I'd bite my tongue, but the bloodbath is more than I could swallow.

oo yes i have..... but it wasnt bad it was really good. I was in a really bright white cloudy room and they clouds parted and a hand reached out and it was all gold and stuff and i heard a man say come....... i didnt want to wake up! It was jeuse!!!! :D

I have had a handful of dreams like that. It really stinks having these kinds of dreams but I guess I will never know the true meaning behind them. Also, I will explain my dream: I was standing in front of a pool and a kid I didn't really like at the time was there and pushed me into the pool backwards and I couldn't breathe while screaming for help. I woke up in a flash and I was still panting for air but somehow I couldn't move one muscle and that was the scariest moment of my life.

Wow! I guess it shows just how much power the subconscious mind can have over our physical bodies.

Kinda disconcerting that my mind would do such things without my conscious concent...

Yes, i have had something very similar like that happen to me. It isn't pretty.

I had a dream like that before. It was the first and last one I've ever had... I hope. I hated it. I had to sleep on my mom's bedroom chair. I know... that sounds f*cked up right? Well what do you expect? I was scared as hell! Anyway, if you want to read mine, it's in that little forum thing or whatever. PeAcE OuT...
