Hi, I need a fellow witch to talk to. I am dying! I can't talk to any of my school friends because they would ditch me! Anyone email me at OWeepingWillowO@aol.com

Blessed Be,

Hannah,

Have you ever thought about joining a Wiccan group through MSN? I don't follow your religion, but it interests me and I have joined a couple to basically get answers to questions I have from time to time. These people have always welcomed me and I've learned what I needed to know.

Just a suggestion...I wouldn't want you to feel alone.

Hello there, new to this message board and a practicing eclectic pagan. I guess that qualifies me as a serious witch. What denomination (if any) are you?

No offense to anyone, but I seriously hope you don't say wiccan.

I put the fun in disfunctional.

Why do you hope I don't say wiccan? I only belive in the Goddess, Mother Nature, so that makes me a whitewitch according to some research I did.

It's alright, thehalloweenqn. Guess what, guys!? I told one of my best best friends from school and she was totally supportive, and then she wouldn't answer my emails or talk to me at school! What is up with that?!

Maybe she is unsure of what our religion entails. Try to give her the facts about it and let her make up her own mind. If she still wont talk to you then it sounds like she wasn't a real friend anyway. Don't give her anything that she can use against you, either.

Sometimes people are quick to "support" you and then they talk to others who put down the exact thing you're looking for support on. It sways that other person into turning away from you, so to speak.

It's true that understanding in this situation is the key. We fear what we don't understand. If she doesn't have knowledge about what you believe in then her response isn't justified, but it's typical.

Good luck with this.

iscream: halloweenqn & MidightBlue r right - believe in yourself & it will come to you. I'm not wiccan but we have a woman here in Australia called Fiona Horne who is a practicing witch and has written a couple of books on the subject. Hope this helps.

Withcraft has to come from within yourself. That's where all power lies.
I do palmistry and tarots and curses. I'm definately not a Wiccan. But I have always been a witch.

I'll cut you just to taste you more.

Thanks. My mom wasn't supportive at all. That's why I had to hide it from her. Anyway, I still am very spiritual, and do spells occasionally, but I have been reading up on Judaism recently. Idk what I am. Just experimenting, I was so confused up to a few days ago. I started believing in God again, but not Jesus. And I do believe in reincarnation. Some Reform Jews believe in that. I don't really know what I am going to do, but does anyone know if there is a such thing as a Jewish witch?

I don't really do the Wiccanism anymore. I keep thinking that, by being good, no one listens to me. Do I have to be evil to be heard!?

Storms come to me, as water rises from the sea. Clouds grow dark and gather together. Thunder rumbles, soon to rain forever.

When I am good,no one listens. When I am evil, I get alot of attention.

From the thunder and the storm and the cloud that took the form, when the rest of Heaven was blue, of a demon in my view.

I think it is a test of faith. If you are good, and believe that you will be heard, then you will be. I dunno.

i was a wiccan(ecclectic with gardnerian overtones) for 14 years. I converted to Hinduism 5 years ago. Very happy with it. i still use my pendulum and read tarot. You can pm me if you want.

It would be so much easier to not be paranoid if they weren't after me!!

The question you need ask yourself is the type of witch you are. Do you believe in the 3 fold, do you believe in revenge, do you believe in helping others, and so on? My group deals with traditional satanism, but I have studied many forms of beliefs. Ask any question you like and maybe I can help you.

The teaching is that everyone lives for a reason and also that every action has a consequence. I have an extremely strong belief in karma, that what you do comes back three-fold, good or bad. What comes around goes around and that when one's journey ends in this dimension, that our souls are weighed.
A good contact point for like-minded souls is http://pagan.rtgworld.com/

Hope that you find what you're looking for...

You're Wiccan, Screamy? Wow, coinkydink--I started Wiccan and then sort of segued into Paganism, although a lot of my beliefs are still Wiccan. Very cool! :D

No no, I used to be Wiccan. Then I went from there to Buddhism, and Hinduism. I've been researching that for a long time now.

Ahh, ok. Sorry I was skim-reading, lol.
What is Hinduism about? I only know about Shakti and Shiva from the Ann Moura books.

iScreamUscreamWeAllScream
12-28-2006, 10:08 AM
Ann Moura? I've never heard of her.

Oh wow, it's about a lot. Where shall I start. Do you have any specific questions?

It's the oldest known religion of the world, has no known founder, and it's the world's third largest religion after Christianity and Islam.

I'll start with one major misconception that many people have. It has many gods and goddesses, BUT it is not a polytheistic religion. They believe in one God. The best way I have seen to explain it is this:
Think of a diamond, with thousands of facets. Now imagine that each facet is a God or Goddess. But how many diamonds do you have? One. Each facet is a part of the personality of God.

Shadow Master
12-29-2006, 01:02 AM
That makes me ask a question... why would all the polytheistic religions be evil, while the one that believes in "one god", is the "right religion"?

iScreamUscreamWeAllScream
12-29-2006, 12:56 PM
I don't want to be mean, but pretty much every religion (especially Christianity) after Hinduism didn't like their multiple gods (they didn't fully understand it) and wanted to do something different, so made one god and no manifestations, and considered anything different to be evil. I am assuming they just wanted to be superior. I suppose a lot of people believed them when they said this because the other people likes new ideas.
