I THINK I'VE ONLY BEEN TO ONE ACTUALY HAUNTED HOUSE.
IT WAS IN THE WOODS AND LOOKED LIKE IT WAS TO OLD TO EVEN BE STANDING. IT HAD GREEN SLIME ON THE WALLS IN THE SHAPE OF A HAND PRINT. THEN I HEARD SOME SOUNDS. THEY ARE KINDA HARD TO EXPLAIN.LIKE A CROSS BETWEEN ROARING AND MOANING. IT WAS DEFINITLY INHUMAN.THEN I SAW A DARK OUTLINE THAT LOOKED LIKE A WOLF AND A BEAR.SOON AS I SAW IT I RAN OFF AND IVE NEVER SEEN THE HOUSE SINCE

wow.

I think this qualifies. I was helping someone move, then everytime I went into one room I felt weird. My hair stood up on my arms everytime I went to one side of the room. I did not say anything till we left cuz I did not want to sound like I wuss. He then told me that there was a double murder in that house. I asked him if one of them happened in that room. Sure enough did.

Yes.. Southern IL... house of Ahab Gullet. It's an old abandoned house of a man who killed his family over 100 years ago, then took his own life. He was from the same small town I am from so pretty much everyone knows about him. The house is truly haunted. No doubt about it. My husband and I have gone there several times, and took a friend of ours who runs a paranormal research group in Daytona Beach, FL area. We have established video and photos. Other than that, it is the only one I have been to. Really a creepy place.

Theres a house about 30 miles from me and its always for sale. People will buy it and a month or 2 later its for sale again. Reason being is that a guy hung (or hanged) himself and rumor has it that his "hanging self" will appear in a room and stare at you. Wouldnt that be nice to wake up in the morning and see some feet dangling by your face and when you look up theres some dead guy staring down at you.

I used to live in a house that was haunted. Lots of stuff happened there. It was mainly just things being moved and sounds, no one was hurt. His name was Marc and he was just a lonely little boy that wanted to play.

You talked to him?
I mean since you say his name was Marc.

Weird Terrain-I wouldn't exactly say that I talked to him. I was in my room one day and my jewelry box kept falling to the floor and I kept putting it back and I said outloud that I wished that I knew the ghosts name and other things, well that night I had a dream about being in my backyard (it really was a cemetary) and I was sitting on a grave with some really pretty flowers on it and on the tombstone was the name Marc. That's all the dream was, me sitting on a grave. When I woke up the next morning the flowers from my dream were on my jewelry box. Kind of freaky, but I thanked 'Marc' for the flowers. I would talk aloud to him (myself? lol) during the day when I was doing other things and none of my stuff was ever bothered again. From that day on, I just assumed the ghost was male and his name was Marc. I did go in the cemetary and I found the grave from my dream. I was born on his birthday about 20-30 years after he died. Odd thing is that after we moved, I could never find that particular grave again. I know it sounds crazy but oh well. About the only people who believe me are my oldest brother and one of my cousins that lived with us at the time and witnessed some of the happenings. My parents said that all of us just misplaced things and forgot where we left them. Seems that no matter where I go, something seems to happen. I met a lady one time that told me that I had a 'gift' but I think she was just trying to humor me. The happenings that occur at other places could just be an unconcious (sp?) desire for something supernatural to take place and be coming from my obviously vivid imagination! lol

Sorry this was sooooo long! lol

A COUPLE DAYS AFTER THE FIRST DAY I SEEN IT,I ASKED A COUPLE OF MY FRIENDS IF THEY KNEW ANYTHING ABOUT IT.THEY SAID THAT THE PEOPLE THAT HAD THE HOUSE BEFORE US BURIED THIER DEAD GRANDMA UNDER THE HOUSE.
AFTER THET NO ONE EVER SEEN HER AGAIN. PRETTY WIERD IF YA ASK ME.

Ghosts feed off of the energy of your emotions, the more worked up you get the stronger they get. That's why alot of hauntings that take place are centered around young people that are going through puberty, because they are emotionally mixed up and the hormones make em kinda crazy.

Maybe this is fate....I am to be the 13th reply on such a subject...There are many Haunted Houses in the U.S. As well as any other place....but this one is in Seattle....and I was dared to spend the Night...Stephen King sould have wrote a book on our evening there. The Movie "ROSE RED"...it was a close discription of three events that took place in that house. It is in the Broadmore District by the Arboritum...Visit the Place if you dare...Can't miss it...Madison Street
