No I dont belive so either. When you die in a dream, it does not symbolize actual death, but more changes in your life and mental state. You know, the death of one thing, and the birth of another.
But who knows, maybe Freddy IS out there ;)

I've had a couple of dreams where I 'died' but I don't think I'm really dead.

Dying in a dream is not necessarily a prophetic message. Usually dying or seeing death-related things in a dream means a new beginning. Something old has died and something new is replacing it.

Most of the dreams I had of people dying are usually stuff related to what I saw on tv. I think it's possible for them to die, but only if it's in the future. Kinda like that lady who dreamt of the twin towers. You'd probably have to have some phsycic ability though.

I'm not sure.I don't think I've ever dreamed that I died.I have dreamed about one of my best friends dying.It scared me pretty bad until I was able to call him and make sure he was OK.I also had a dream about my uncle after he died.I dreamed that I wreaked a car and killed him.That one freaked me out for a long time.
