I awoke this morning,
A bright new day was born.
A robin was perched upon my sill,
To signal the coming dawn!
The bird was graceful, young and gay,
And sweetly did it sing!
With thoughts of joy and happiness,
Within my heart did ring!
I smiled at his lovely song,
Then it paused a momments lull.
So I gently closed the window,
AND CRUSHED HIS (BLEEPING) SKULL!
