1) The Blair Witch Project
I found this film to be unique and very scary. I wonder what Heather Donohue is doing now? I recognized her on a commercial for fast food franchise Steak and Shake awhile ago. Hope she can do better.
2) Halloween
This is definitely one of John Carpenter's best!
3) The Fog
This is definitely John Carpenter's scariest!
4) The Thing (John Carpenter's version)
Yeah, I know. It's probably obvious that I'm a John Carpenter fan. Although I'm not much of a gore hound, this is just a damned fun, scary film. I wish he would make more like it.
5) The Shining
I've always been a Stanley Kubrick fan and enjoyed his adaptation of the Stephen King novel.
6) Killer Klowns From Outer Space
It's corny, but a hell of alot of fun!
7) Blood Diner
I would put this one in roughly the same category as Killer Klowns. It's much gorier, but still fun and crazy.
8) Interview With A Vampire
I'll admit up front that I'm not much of a vampire movie fan. Frankly, I think most of the vampire movies that I've seen suck (no pun intended)! This one is definitely a cut above the usual fare.
9) Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer
I still think that this is one of the most disturbing films that I have ever seen!
10) The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Original)
I love this movie. I haven't seen the remake yet, but it'll have to be damned good to measure up!
