Are u 4 real[:0] It seems to me as if people are running out of movie ideas LOL They're re-making everything. This one should be intresting. Most re-makes don't live up to the original. Although I did luv the new TCM:D I'll keep my fingers crossed that this one won't suck[:p]

but i do agree most remakes should be burnt. but i have heard extremely good things about the texas chainsaw massacre! i'm still looking forward to seeing it on my television with a special some one beside me, just because it makes it more realistic seeing it at home by yourself in the mniddle of the woods with no lights any where around..

Ye gremlinz,
nothing like watching a horror flick in your own house with the lights off with surround-sound on. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

remake amityville horror? Now that just is sad. But heard good things about TCM remake - not here in Aust.

I never really liked Amityville Horror. For some reason it just wasn't scary to me but maybe that's because I can't take Margot Kidder seriously as an actress after Lois Lane! TCM though...that was a pretty good remake. It totally shattered the expectations I think after that STUPID remake of Psycho!
Uh, if there's a steady paycheck, I'll believe anything you say!

I liked the second one (I think it was part 2 anyways) because it was in 3-D.
"You think that when you die you go to Heaven. YOU COME TO US!!"
I liked the one with the clock. I think it was the 1992 one or something like that. LOL But I like on how the cover of the 3d one it says "Amityville 3D...this version not in 3d" Kills me every time lol

And Amityville 3D has Meg Ryan in it!

I'd rather watch her than Margot Kidder!

The true stories behind that are real. The 2nd Amityville movie is actualy about what happened in the house first, then the First movie was later. The house is in Amityville New York, 2 of my friends went to see it a year ago. The odd shaped windows have been taken out, and it has been painted, but they said youstill get a very odd feeling knowing about it. The story is the oldest Son murdered the entire family with a shot gun, he had apparently been really messed up on drugs. Devil worship? Who knows? It was also an "Indian Burial Ground in some stories" that the house was on. Anyway what makes it scary is that the son shot Each of his family members and killed them, in their beds, all face down. Noone moved from where they were sleeping. Wouldn't you wake up if a shotgun went off in another room?
funky, in that Claire Huxtable kind of way
