Hands down, Michael Myers is by far my favorite
"I spent eight years trying to reach him and another seven trying to keep him locked up,
because I knew what was behind his eyes is purely and simply evil...
He became an obsession with me until I realized there wasn’t anything within him neither
conscience nor reason. He wasn't even remotely human!" -Dr Loomis, Halloween

Hey, who can forget Dr Hill from Reanimator. or Pinhead (first one mainly), Candyman - one of the best horror flicks of the 90's. Marylou Maloney from Prom Night 2, JD from Heathers.

fair enough chill-seeker, then how about the originals of Dr Jeckell & Mr Hyde, Cabinet of Dr Callgari and the Invisible Man?

My favorite horror monster would have to be Norman Bates. Although I guess he's not really a monster but I LOVE the guy!!! Mike Myers is up there but do zombies count? I mean as a whole? Cause they scare the crap outta me! Them and that little midget/kid thinig from burial ground!
Uh, if there's a steady paycheck, I'll believe anything you say!

I have a poster of Psycho that is trully spooky - Norman Bates standing outside mothers house.

You know, he's spooky but yet I think he is SO sexy!!! That scene when he's leaning against the post on the porch and eating those candies...wow he's really hot! I'd have fallen for him.

I love all those old movies. The characters were so over the top scary. The actors, to me, are intriguing and great to behold.
Some people find it hard to sit thru a b&w film (nevermind a silent one) but I find, that if you relax, turn down the lights, pop in something like Phantom of the Opera, have a drop of wine or two (those over 21, of course;)) and immerse yourself in the story, characters, and mood of the picture, you just might enjoy it and even be impressed!
Then they can go back to watching the WB.[xx(]
Some of my most favorite movies are black and white. Like Psycho and of course Plan Nine From Outer Space or any Ed Wood movie! The original House on Haunted Hill...those movies mess with your mind and are scary mentally lol or am I mental?

Hey, it's only 18 here chill-seeker :) And an Ed Wood fan Zedd. Didn't think much of 'Plan Nine' but enjoyed the movie starring Johnny Depp.

Ya that was great! That's what made me want to see all the Ed Wood movies. That and the episode from Seinfeld when they're supposed to go see Plan nine. I LOVED Vampira in it

Vampira I think was played by Tim Burton's then muse (since replaced by Helen Bonham Carter) Lisa-Marie
Also loved the bit where they are sitting in an office and Ed askes if they have a movie and the guy says "No but we have the poster!" :)
