I'm with you on that one sexkitten. I've always been scared to death of clowns, ever since i was little. My parents tried to take me to the circus once and we weren't there even 20 minutes before they had to take me home. Sad huh? [V] Any who, I'm scared of spiders also! Always have been! I also can't watch horror movies with werewolfs. My brother locked me in his room when I was 6 and made me watch Stephen Kings Silver Bullet. I haven't been the same since. Gotta love older brother. LOL[B)]

There really are a lot of people terrified of clowns... they don't bother me, I use to worship Bozo when i was little lol... but I did date guy a long time ago that was terrified of them, and I mean terrified. My big thing is i have arachnophobia. If a spider is even in the same neighborhood of me, I panic. And I mean seriously panic. Even the most harmless insects, or small creatures, terrify me... but I think the worst thing is (don't laugh) but Granddaddy LongLegs. I will actually cry if one touches me. It's just a bad fear. Can't help what you're afraid of!

I am prolly scared of Clowns the most, and I cant seem to help it. I think it kind of started when I was little tho... One other thing would be large open pools of water as in swimming pools, oceans, etc. I mean yea I can go into them, I just get uptight like something is gonna happen, like something bad [B)]

I always heard that granddaddy longlegs are 1 of the most poisionous spiders around... maybe deep down that's why I'm scared of them so much... then again, it could just be because they're nasty, horrible, creepy, UGGGGLY looking things that just creep around with that itty bitty body in the middle of those giant long legs ICKKKKKK!!!! [V] The whole thought of them just gives me the creeps. lol

Spiders because they are absolutely disgusting and I don't care what science says to me they are useless! And skeletons scare the crud outta me! Maybe because they're always grinning. I don't know, all I do know is that God gave us skin so we wouldn't have to look at bones!

Loved "IT"-both book & miniseries. My Family has a ghost that follows us everywhere we move; such as opening cupboard doors, moving stuff on us & sometimes u can hear steps on the floor &/or steps. As 4 clowns I have a quote that Clive Barker repeated from "Famous monsters mag; but u have to close your eyes to get the full effect: "True horror lies in the out of place, A clown is funny in a circus, but if you saw that same clown standing on your lawn at midnight, he wouldn't be funny at all"

I'm terrified of clowns, but srprisingly enough I love the movie "it" I aLso love Killer Klowns from Oterspace. The Klowns in that movie don't scare me as much as real ones like Pogo, and Ronald McDonald.

I think I'm mostly scared of mirrors and sharks. Mirrors because whenever I look into one, I expect my image to suddenly transform into Satan or something (like I'll look into the mirror until I'm convinced that what I'm seeing is evil and will soon show what it really is) and sharks not because of the movie Jaws, but because I'm a bad swimmer, and sharks seem to have an endless amount of teeth. And mall security guards. They seem to suspect me even when I'm NOT shoplifting.

Drowning would have to be my ultimate fear. I've also never been a fan of people dressed up in those freaky outfits (like they do at Disneyland). There just something creepy about not being to see who's in that suit. Then there's the other stuff - clowns, dogs, travelling in a plane...[8]

On the subject of daddy longlegs being poisonous--no, they're not. The poison of a black widow spider is much more lethal than that of a daddy longlegs--and I can tell you this much, though the rumor is indeed popular, there is no quality about a daddy longlegs that will kill you.
Interestingly enough, the daddy longlegs is the only spider I know of that uses a penis to mate. The others use those strange dongle-things near their mouths.
Cool, huh?

We have a hunting spider here in Denmark, and it is said it is one of the most poisonous spiders in the world, but it cant penetrate a human skin, therefor leaving it safe to humans and larger animals. It should also be more poison than the Funnel Web spider (which should be the most dangerous spider in the world, but that deffinetly depends on a lot).
And, how ever logical it may sound, BigPiamp is right about the Daddy Longleg (I dont know about the last part, but the poisonous part is correct).
Many spiders unfortunatly have a bad reputation, when they actually dont harm anyone or anything.
