I'm not sure what I see--I have shadows. Their not your 'Usual' ghostly types--But I've had them around me all my life. They tend to scare the crap outta my family and friends, but they never really do much but make noises and STARE at people when their trying to sleep. My youngest daughter won't use the bathroom in my bedroom--that's where most of the activity happens. She was in the bathroom one time, and a 'shadow' came up through the floor and passed out through the wall. She hasn't been in there since.

I've told this story b4 on the Forum,Years ago my roommate & I wanted to scare the crap out of this so called"macho guy".Where I lived in Maryland there was a half burnt out house about a couple of miles from where I worked.One night we asked this guy to meet us at this place so we could perform an "exorcism"(earlier that day I went out and hung up a swinging skull),I was dressed in a black cloak.We performed the "exorcism"and I screamed and rolled on the old floor.The guy went sreaming and we think he peed in his pants.
Anyhow,the next day,I went back to retreive my props and as I was walking down the 1/2 mile dirt driveway(mind you it was a hot August day),after I got them and was on my way Back to my car I walked right into a FREEZING COLD SPOT.
Later on I went to the library and looked up "cold spots"and it turns out that I either walked through a spirit or in its area!

I personally have never seen one. But I do believe they exist. I once lived in a freaky house that was obviously haunted. Lots of strange things happened. And I herd lots of strange things. But no sightings YET.

Yeah, I have. Just don't taunt them since it tends to P.O. them. I've learned to be real polite despite the negative physichal reaction I have. I love looking for ghosts but I've only seen the ones in my house. I hear a lot of them though espc. in Gettysburgh.

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and this is my first post... but I just thought I'd share a story... before me and my husband were married a few years ago, we were out gravel roading, and we ended up on this old dirt road. It was rather narrow so we couldn't turn around. It apparently was not an often-traveled road, very grown-up and the holes were almost to the point where you couldn't cross them in a compact car (we were in a 4X4 SUV). Anyway, the road lead back to this old cemetary, obviously one where no one was recently buried in. Well neither one of us got out of the car, but when we pulled up in the yard partially to back up so we could leave, there was this tall, figure (somewhat hazy) in front of us. It appeared to be a man, in both of our opinions anyway. He was in front of us, holding his hand out (as if telling us to stop). My husband yelled out the window "Hello?" (we weren't sure what to believe it was to be honest) and then it started fading in and out. Finally, it disappeared... and we decided to get the heck out... well when my husband stepped on the gas, it appeared again and it was too late to stop and he drove right through it... and at that very moment i swear that SUV (which the heat was cranked up in by the way) turned ice cold on the inside... it was freeezing in there. And we freaked out, thinking we hit somebody, but there was no thud or anything like that... and when we turned around... that figure was standing there, facing us again, and it just disappeared. I'm not sure what to make of all this... but we were both 100% sober. of course no one believes us, but i thought i'd share it with you all in hopes that maybe someone else has had a similar experience, or might have some sort of insight. well i also have seen things that i try to explain
by logical reasoning, having a mind both inquisitive and skeptical, but once when i was much younger while living in the heart of coal mine country along with a few friends, we decided to explore an abandoned mine, while deep inside our flashlight died and we resulted to using our clothing a stick and a zippo to make a torch, we only had to burn our tee shirts thankfully, before we saw a glint of light from a great distance, we began our treck toward daylight and noticed the dust we were stirring up seemed to take form, we kept walking and the shapes became more noticable becoming the figures of humans walking past us into the deeper breaks, the closer we got the more outlined they became, you could actually see the forms of the lanterns on their helmets as they just past right through us and right on by,
we finally made it to the exit and i thought i was the only one, then everyone said it at once "did you guys see that sh**"?
on a hunch i did some research and you guessed it more than a dozen miners had been killed in that place from a cave-in twenty years before we decided to go exploring, i didn't experience any cold chills, and like to belive that my visions were caused from being succumbed in darkness then adjusting to the light, but all six of us?
i guess i'll never know, i'm a little older and much wiser than to go crawling around dark caverns unprepared, but it still makes me wonder,

Well I have first hand on ghosts, I have seen them all my life. I have seen them in my home for many years, especially around the death of someone I know, one of them - Mrs. Jobe - the old owner of the house plays with my fire trucks around that time. Then I have seen my grandfather and my uncle - he scared the piss out of me cause he showed up the day we buried him in my room. I have also seen numerous ones in cemetaries and battlefields, it is actually gotten to be so normal that I don't get scared anymore by them. I also think my son is begining to see them too.

interesting...ever experience the unusal symptoms the others seem to have, cold spot's or the like? or tried to document the apparitions on tape or film? have they ever been hostile?

So other people have seen (or felt) family members too? We have a lot of ghosts, and they are all quite nice. Unless I tease them, then they react as anybody else would. A ghost simply cannot harm the living Reaper. You are thinking of demons, which according to Hollywood and popular literature, often masqurade as ghosts.

Ghost are not to be taken lightly, they are here to warn us about events that are about to happen in are life. I have been able to see ghost all my life and been battling bad dreams due to them. There is spirits that will harm you, if you show disrespect to them. don't let anyone tell you different, and they watch us like a home made movie. nothing like the movies made in Hollywood. Throughout my life I have saw demons, angels and alot of spirits, I even was able to speak to a spirit direct one early morning, it turned out to be a very interesting experience. Its okay to say yeah right, she's lying, but the living ignore the dead and can't except the unknown. If you are interested in knowing more on ghost and experiencing the unknown.

:)dunno about the rest of the stories..... but not so long ago about 6 months after my neighbor's father had passed from this earth

I've felt his presence and for a long time since whenever I was helping his sons with one of thar oddball projects or thar cars

my family has been seeing spirits for many years. We see to attract all sorts of them. Some are scary, others are quiet. There is a haunted baby graveyard not far from where i live. I have seen gohosts there too.. Children only.
