It's okay hun! Well an avatar is a small image you could use for your profile like a picture of a ghost or a reaper or something. The avatars are displayed at the side of your posts the same place where it shows your ranking and number of posts, and etc. I hope that helps. ;):D

No problemo, and I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes it's hard to tell if a person using the name Cherrylips is a female or a male. I've bump into a few with names that sounded like a female name but I found out they were actually males. The same as blueeyes sound kinda like a female name too. ;):D

What do you mean you are lost? You said it's not exactly the easiest figuring out who is male and who is female on these things, and I told you I know exactly what you mean and that sometimes it's hard to tell who is female or male on these things.
