If you had a part in a HORROR movie remake, which movie would it be, and what part would you like to be in?
As for me, the screamer, "Ahhhhhhh!", just kidding, lolz. [:p]
Well I would have to say Jamie Lee Curtis in HALLOWEEN. In my view she had the most awesome role in all female Horror movie roles. Nobody couldn't of done it better than her. ;)

I'd love to be Linda Blair's role, as 'Regan MacNeil' in "The Exorcist". Except they'd have to pay me double, to do the crucifix scene. [:I]

08-02-2003, 05:19 PM
Nope, it was a crucifix, and what Linda had to do, was take the crucifix, and put it....okay, I'm just gonna stop there. But did you know Grem's, that there was actually a sponge with red dye there? Lol...Linda said it in an interview there was on the movie, that I borrowed from a dude. It was a VHS tape. I own the DVD, the "Version You've Never Seen", but I can only watch it on my brother's computer, because we don't have a DVD player. Isn't that the most stupid thing you've ever heard? lol

Oh, and Grem's, the "girl", is now 40-something years old. Lol! :D And to help her get over doing that movie as a child in 1973, she made a spoof of "The Exorcist", in 1990/1991, called "Repossessed". I think it helped her deal with the terror she must have felt about filiming the movie as a child.

The actress that had to "Stab the sponge" was not Linda, she was a stunt double. Linda said in the clip of her--what she had to do is stab a box(watch it!) of wet sand with the crucifix---she had NO clue why they had her do it. She said the only thing that bothered her about the movie was...to this day she still has some back problems from being flung around in the bed, which actually did hurt! And from being in the extreme cold for such a long time she STILL HATES the COLD!

08-02-2003, 07:10 PM
Actually, I think you're right Wicked, but I'm sure she said it was a sponge...anyways, Linda said that she didn't know it was mast********, until a little later in life. This makes me question why she was speaking on behalf of the stunt double, if she didn't even do the scene herself. [B)]

Oh, and Ellen Burstyn (or whatever her name was), had said when she was slapped in the movie after the crucifix scene, and she hit the floor, that had hurt as well, and she was begging to see a doctor.

I can't believe that any of you would be the slightest bit unnerved by "The Exorcist." I saw it when it was first released and laughed all the way through. I mean, come on! Who but the most demented of zealots would take this turkey as anything but a badly done cartoon?

EXCUSE ME?!?! Oh no, you didn't! I LOVED "The Exorcist"! It was one of the greatest movies ever done, especially the child-acting! It was realistic, and freaked out a crapload of people. I laughed too, only because I just loved the performance by Linda Blair, that, and nothing scares me, but for you to come on here, and disrespect one of the most incredible masterpieces ever created, that's really insensitive to other's feelings! Maybe if you reworded it to say "I didn't agree with the movie." or something like that, I wouldn't be goin' psycho on you, but...AGH! Hold me back Trippers, I might just do something nuts! And Magicman.....I for one was not "Unnerved" by this one---but the one that always comes to mind when I think of unnerving is "Night of the Living Dead"...Though I was very young when I saw it for the first time, it left a lasting impression. Since then I've watched it many times and laughed and made fun of the zombies looking like a homeless food line, but I keep it in the back of my mind with respect for the first time I was truly "Horrified!"

man the only reason that movie was scary is because my friend was on a few "medications" and pointed out all the subliminal messages...i mean other then that i found the exorcist not to be scary at all..he did.

Ahh yes, the traditional "lets fight over a message board" routine. Anyways, for my horror movie, I might go with Ash from Army of Darkness or if its considered horror, the guy from Lawnmower Man (I think his name was Jeb?). Either way, the guy with all the cool powers.

Icons, besides those little thingies on your desktop, are also the term for little 100x100 px images that you can use on aolim or any im for a display pic, or load them into imageshack or photobucket, and stick them like stickers on any site that supports html. Lol.
