It started out in a place similar to my house yet everything was made of stone and had symbols carved in various places. These symbols were also glowing slightly. I was standing in what would be the driveway, which in reality is just alot of dirt and dead grass. In this case, it was paved stone. I walked into the backyard and realized that this place was some kind of Mage training grounds. Somehow, I knew I was a Mage of a sort as well; So, as I walked into the back I saw three other buildings. All were rounded, made entirely of stone, and again with glowing symbols.
I noticed there was one Mage standing at an iron fence seperating this side of the area. Here, there was a Mage in a red robe with his hood down. He had some tattoos on his face of symbols similar to those on the buildings. He was aiming his staff at the other Mages in the building on the other side of the fence. They were all wearing purple robes with hoods up. I got up next to him and pulled out an odd looking rifle with a blue light in it. I aimed it at one of the Mages as he left the stone hut, waited a few seconds as the beam on the rifle grew thicker, and fired it at him.
A brighter blue, almost white beam followed the unharmful beam that it was already projecting.. he went down instantly. Another one came out, unknowing of the situation and the red Mage next to me shot a red blast at him with his staff. I shot another one that was visible just inside the hut entrance, and then as the red mage fired again I looked to my left and noticed an old man and a few more purple mages were just inside the door to the main building. I walked over to them, a mesh gate and an iron gate seperating us. The old man tried to say something but his words were almost silent. I made a gesture pointing to the red mage, then to me, then to the inside of the main building. The old man nodded. I said, "Uhh.. Maaaybe later.." and began walking back to the red mage.
As I did, my dog Dillinger(Or Dodo) showed up, and started jumping all over me. Somehow the gates were open and the old man was somewhere else. I went inside and the red mage followed. Everything inside the place was made of stone as well, and also had glowing symbols. I saw the old man again, but just passed him. As I came into what would be the living room, I saw a large crevass in the middle of the room. Starting out as big as a grave then growing gradually.
There was someone sitting in a stone chair-like thing across the room. Somehow I knew him; I had a feeling of hatred every time I looked at him. He stood up and said in a rather angry tone "I've prepared a grave for you. Would you like to just throw yourself in, or shall I properly end your life first?" I stepped foreward a bit, and accidentally fell in the hole. It was deep; I could see water at the very bottom. I remembered that I could fly for a short time. I flew upward a bit and grabbed onto a rock, waited a few seconds and started flying again. I managed to make it out of the hole, and back onto my feet outside.
By now there was a girl wearing a blue robe with brown leather trim, standing in the doorway where I came in, next to the red mage. The man in the stone chair said, "Well, I guess I'll just have to kill you first then, since you don't seem to want to stay down." He stood up and pulled put a glowing blue sword. I looked down at my body and noticed I was wearing medieval battle-type leather, my wrists wrapped in strips covered in spikes on top of braces. My skin was extremely pale. Light grey, in fact. My arms and hands were musclebound, fingernails black. I instinctively pulled a large sword from a sheath on my back; It was almost weightless to me.
I stepped toward the man who slightly resembled Alec Treverlyan. I swung the sword hard from the left and cut his arm off. It fell off like a butterfly's wing.. Coincidentally, just then he grew a pair of metal wings. I swung again from the other way, and cut him in half. He let out somewhat of a sigh of death and slumped over next to the crevass. I noticed his wing was the only thing keeping him from falling. I cut it in half with ease, and shoved the small portion left over into the crevass as well.
I turned around and saw that the red mage was gone. I asked the girl what her name was and if she saw where the red mage went. She said "Tao. And, he went back down the hall somewhere. I didn't see where." Being only a warrior mage myself, I had little knowledge of magic other than a few basic things, of course. I began walking past Tao and said "We need to find somebody that can clean up this mess." As I started walking down the hall, the dream pretty much faded away just as the old man came into my view.
