Spiritual Activity that I used to experience

Got a few encounters to share that happened to me when I moved into my current residence a few years back. It all started shortly after me and the rest of my family moved in. I was upstairs in our media room one night when one of the 2 attic entrances we have up there just opens on it's own! I watched the attic door slowly creek open. Not long after that it started happening more frequently I'd come into the room and both doors would be open. My little bro experienced the same thing too and I can remembering him asking me if I had been in the attic and forgot to close the door one day, I told him no and said it's probably just the ghost acting up again. He gave me this strange look and walked away. About the same time that was going on I also heard a couple time s a very loud sharp bang come from the vicinity of my closet. Both occasions were in the dead of night around 3 or 4 in the morning while I was playing videogames. (I'm a nightowl) I jumped and looked at the closet door for a second then opened it to see if anything had fallen over or anything knowing nothing in there could have produced the sound I just heard. The closest sound I can think of that is anywhere near simillar would be the sound of a goodsize stick being quickly snapped in 2. That activity all took place within the first 1.5 months I was in my current house. The attic doors opening seemed to stop after that but other things started happening. On several occasions in the dead of night I would hear sounds like pots banging and things being moved around only to go downstairs and find nothing out of the ordinary. That went on for a few months and then seemed to stop. The next encounter freaked me out the most and lead me to believe that there might be more than one spirit in my house. I was up late watching my old 15" TV. It was way passed midnight and I was watching an old episode of roseanne. Suddenly I started hearing this sound like a dog panting heavily like right next to my face and I looked to the left and saw this sort of grey mist with black spots in it. The panting and mist lasted for about a minute and stopped/dissipated. Needless to say I slept with the lights on that night.

After that the only thing I've experienced is my name being spoken in my ear by what sounds like a woman on one occasion about 1.5 years ago but I can't be sure it was a female spirit cuz I know they can create whatever tones/inflections/sounds they wish. My best friend heard his name being spoken to him as well on a separate occasion about a year ago when he was on the upstairs balcony looking out at the patio. He also says he gets weird vibes from the upstairs bathroom but I've never sensed/felt anything in that room.
