That reminds me of what you said about liking avenged sevenfold. I like the song Unholy Confessions, and I like the band overall but I think they should go back to their old heavier style.

My stepdad's mother invited me to go with her because she always goes to NY to see her other son who's lived there for more than 20 years. But that was two years ago, she always went when I had school and I couldn't miss it. If it doesn't work out this year I'm sooo gonna make her pay for everything I see at Hot Topic. Haha! =D

hhhmmm... the farthest away ive been from my house has to be Florida(great state by the way) New York is the no.1 place in the US I'd like to go. So, would this be your first time in the states?

Good luck with that. I dont know how the Netherlands are, but I hate the US. personally, I would rather live in Japan, Ireland, or Britain.
Goat Face

i guess I dont hate the US, just the way it generally functions. People in the US are just a bunch of hillbillys and drunk celebrities. You do get the occasional nice person, but if you ask me a lot of them wanna see you bleed, watch Welcome to the jungle music video to understand what I mean. Any way, the US has a lot of great things to offer as well, so go see a broad way or something while you're in NY!! they are really trademark things for the US.

I don't hate the US, but I wouldn't like to live there. I'd rather move to somewhere colder, like Finland or Japan, which are my favourite countries.

Japan is also one of my favorites along with what I listed. sorry it took so long to get back, my parents are arguing again.:( I think its really just their jobs that get them so worked up.

If you want further proof as to how messed up america can be, look at my avatar.

Every country is messed up, look at the NL, weed can be bought legally anywhere. There're even brownies with cocaine in them. I don't know about what you think about this, but in my opinion it's completely nuts. =\

I don't know about what you think about this, but in my opinion it's completely nuts. = Oh believe me it is. That is one reason that I like Japan. They have a really low crime rate, it's technologically advanced, and who wouldnt go there, seriously! a little overpopulated though. My teacher brought in rice balls from Japan and they were REALLY good. she's from Japan, so she can get resources fairly easily.

I tried to learn Japanese by myself by watching animes that were not translated to english like most of them are. But, it's harder since they don't use letters! =D

I will tell you now that is pretty much pointless lol. There are a lot of rules and ways to say things so it is almost required to learn from an instructor(even then its a little hard)

It is me. I just look asian because I cropped the picture to fit there. Probably didn't do it right. Here's the original one.

Oh yeah, another good heavy metal song is Embedded by Job For a Cowboy!
vampirexpsycho
05-04-2008, 07:56 AM
Well, it's more melodic metal but a really wicked song is The Islander by Nightwish! =D
Goat Face
05-04-2008, 08:04 AM
By melodic do you mean like symphonic metal like Dimmu Borgir?
Goat Face
05-04-2008, 08:06 AM
By the way, I found out what song I was thinking of and its called "For what its worth" by Buffalo Springfield. I changed it to my signature.

By melodic do you mean like symphonic metal like Dimmu Borgir?
Yeah, sorta. It's a "melodic heavy metal band with a female vocalist" like Tuomas Holopainen once described them. =D
Goat Face
05-04-2008, 08:26 AM
Okay, I think I know what you're talking about. Then they're probably like Dimmu Borgir except not as heavy or satanic(?)
vampirexpsycho
05-04-2008, 08:28 AM
Okay, I don't listen that much to Dimmu Borgir, I find them rather creepy. =S
Goat Face
05-04-2008, 08:31 AM
I didnt expect you to know who Dimmu Borgir was! Most people say, huh?, whenever i mention them. Serpentine offering is a good song. If you havent seen the music video, you should look it up on Youtube. Its a good video about the crusades
vampirexpsycho
05-04-2008, 08:34 AM
Yeah, I know them. I have a friend who "introduced" me to 'em. xD But I never really liked their music.
Goat Face
05-04-2008, 08:42 AM
My brother first heard about them on the music channels on TV. I didnt get into them until I saw their Serpentine Offering video on Headbangers ball

I dont listen to much of the older stuff. Everyone at school is obssessed with bands like ACD, Led Zeppelin, Pantera, Iron Maiden exc. I think the only Iron maiden song I like is The Trooper, i heard run to the hills, but the lead singer sounded like a girl in that one XD

Freddy's Fake Head

Hmm hard to choose 1 ... I love Unforgiven and Enter Sandman by Metallica, Angels, Forgiven, and Frozen by Within Temptation, and 7 days to the Wolves by Nightwish. I can think of others I love but I can't pick a favorite.

Fave metal song? That's impossible to answer as there are so many. If you were asking what my fave song from a horror movie was then I'd say Excess, by Tricky, which was from Queen of the Damned, and also 13 Ghosts(love it!)
If you're talking metal in general, here are a few that spring to mind:
Enter Sandman by Metallica
Evolution by Korn
Keep on Rotting in the Free World by Carcass
Polaris by Megadeth
Ball tongue by Korn
Good God by Korn(in fact, pretty much owt by Korn)
Loco by Coal Chamber
For You by My Dying Bride
It Will Come by My Dying Bride
