What would you do on z-day?

If zombies invaded the first thing I would do is hide out in my house. I have a 12 gauge and plenty of shells and I live in country so I would be well off. After about a month or two I run out of food and ammo and finnaly die a horrible death.:eek:

Well, I sure as hell wouldn't go to the mall! I'd probably barricade myself and the animals and a bunch of food and water in the second basement (cement block and reinforced security door). I live in the city so I am probably screwed anyway!

Yesh, I'd buy the Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks, follow every instruction stated in it. Then flee to the neighboring town. I know this sounds obvious, but I won't sit around waiting for my probably-bitten-little-sister to bite me. Get to the safe town, find a gun store, and join the Minuteman Militia. =|

lol. I've wanted to read that book for like....forever. But I don't know where to find it, and I deslike ordering via internet. Takes too long. =3 But yeah, I would take that book with me on z-day because you can never be too careful.

I might have not been used(maybe once, but I try not to think about it) but I've suffered too. When my mom married with my stepdad, she had a lot of physical problems due to the fact that my stepdad was seeing an ex-girlfriend(she had a desease and would die very soon) but my mom didn't want to accept that. She got even madder with him when she gave birth to my sister. Because he didn't even mind to introduce her to his ex-girlfriend and he wouldn't even pay attention to us. My mom decided to break up with him, but she had no idea of how much he really loved her. My stepdad was deeply hurt and tried to kill himself because my mom didn'want to stay with him anymore. But I always tried to say something about it and eventually I had become the one person who had to solve that whole problem. Later on we discovered that my stepdad had also a desease(cancer in his bones), and he won't live for more then 10 years. I barely tell someone that or talk about it because I don't want to ruin my family's happiness now that everything's under control... I just can't bare with the fact that my sister will lose her father so soon. =(

I know that you're hurt, but try to think positively. =D

I am too old to think positively anymore. The 2 closed off friends I befriended are no longer in my life so I failed in getting them to LIVE - sigh.
So yea, let the zombies take me away to another life where I can get back at all of those who have hurt me emotionally all these years, including all the jerky kids when I went to school.

Well zombies arent too difficult to handle if youve seen Night of the Living Dead, mainly just set some fire & torches on their ass & youre good)!:cool:

I found my copy in the humor section at Borders and I have seen it at Barnes and Nobel as well. If they don't have it in stock they should be able to special order a copy.

For me it depends on if the zombies are fast or not. If they are old school slow zombies I would just keep on doing my normal thing. I'm fast and fairly intelligent enough that I would probably just shrug it off. About all I would change is that I wouldn't go to work anymore (wouldn't need to) and I would carry a weapon in case I'm caught off guard or overrun. I think battling dim witted zombies would be an improvement over my current job so its really not a very bad scenario if you think about it. I would likely even harvest the zombies as food for myself. But then would I really be any better than the zombies themselves?...Yes, yes I would.
If they were fast zombies I would likely go to the ammo shop less then two miles up the road and the grocery store right next to it and stock up on supplies. I would then either...
1) Head to the lake I live next to (with my fishing gear), steal a boat and head to the old army barge thats smack dab in the middle of the lake, it doesn't get more convenient then that. Of course I would dispatch the few zombies that might be on it and as long as I have my fishing gear i would have a fairly constant supply of food (provided the fish are biting).
2) If that does not pan out I would go to the nearby abandoned army depot that happens to be full of bunkers and surrounded by a fairly sturdy fence with barbed wire on top. This is less pleasing since the facility is large and most likely the zombies would find an access point without my knowing.
3) Go some place high, perhaps a loft in a barn. Of course I would remove access to said high spot so the zombies couldn't climb up and get me but I'm fairly confident that once I did that they couldn't reach me, its not like they would be super human and able to leap up into it (this is real life folks, not the movies). I don't care for this option because really, even post Z-Day who wants to live in a barn loft?
4) Probably my last choice would be to go to the nearby prison. For various reasons this is a good idea. It has weapons, generators, food, supplies and a nice razorwire fence all around the compound. The only drawback (and its a big one) is I would have to deal with all the prisoners be they zombies or not, either or is equally horrifying.
