With alot of frustration (because of extremely crappy tools) I managed to make this new mask, which is extremely irritating to the skin because it's a canvas patio umbrella I found on the curb somewhere.

Basically, the mask is a giant bandana.

The original umbrella had seams in sections all around it, as with most umbrellas. I cut out one section with a pair of kitchen scissors. Then, I stretched the section over my face with the bottom edge of it about half way down my neck.

Using a normal black sharpie, I traced my eyes and mouth by feel and took off the canvas, laying it out on the table. I used a small pocketknife with a 2" 1/2 blade and cut about 1 inch on the outer edge of the eye marks, then used the scissors to cut the rest of it.

With the mouth, I simply punctured it and slit along the middle of the mark with the knife. Next, I cut the outer sides of the eyes upward and outward, to make it look a bit more angry. Then, I cut a smile into the right side of the mouth and sewed the whole mouth shut with tan string.

To put it on, I did it just the same as you would with a bandana, put the top-middle part of the triangle down first, then take the bottom-left and right parts and tied them together behind my head. I tucked the excess bagginess into itself on the left side, giving it that crease.
