Yerz...
So, I used to be the Very Obscure B Horror Movie correspondent on the Iain Lee afternoon wireless show, on LBC 97.3 (in the UK).Updates at 5.38 precisely, every day, daily. That is my claim to fame. Stop laughing! Anyway, the correspondents updates were axed, LBC bought by Globotech and I was left feeling very insecure. Scared. Scarred even. How on earth was I to talk about everything scary and horrible, hey?
Well, at the beginning of this year, I decided to host my own show, "The Attack Of The 50 Ft Horror Radio Show". At the time , it seemed like a pretty good name for a show, but why did it have to be so darn long? But it is too late now, I am stuck with this never ending name (though I could shorten it to TAOTFFHRS.) Tough.
I present the show with Eldi(aka LD, the living dead), who is my zombie sidekick/producer/scape goat. He does smell a bit, but what do you expect?
So, you can listen to previous shows and even participate to future ones by going to myspace.com/ouftigrave .There is a skype answer phone for you to leave your scary messages that get played during the show. You can do your own stuff or take part to the Horror Tasks of the week (found in the blog section).
At the moment, I have this pretty exciting project which is the recreation of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre (on a podcast, I am not a movie maker you know) you can listen to the trailer just by going on my mysace profile as it starts automatically. I am writing the stuff and my listeners get to act it. I would love if you listened to it and tell me you love it. Even if you hate it. Hold on, no, I want to know the truth. Arghhhh, what if you really hate it??? Help!!!!
So, I guess that's pretty all I want to say. Well, let me add that the show can also be found on http://katiaintheworkshop.libsyn.com or you can subscribe on the i-tunes (just type in the attack of the 50 ft or ouftigrave in the itunes search engine and you can lisen to me on your ipod whilst doing the ironing or gazing at the stars.
Looking forwards to talking about horrrrrible stuff with you.
