when i was a child, maybe 4 or so (so it had to be around the mid 80s) i remember seeing a horror (maybe short movie thing like tales from the crypt style?) show about a kid with a teddy bear that comes alive and has glowing red eyes, and at the end the mother stabs it and then a real bear starts trying to tear down the door. sound familiar?
ive been trying to find out what it was since i was a kid becuase i remember it scared the crap out of me when i was 4. its stuck in my brain, just burned into it and i have to find out what it was. anything would be helpful!

i dont THINK so, it doesnt sound like it in the descition, im thinking it was probobly more of a short, id have to actually see the pit to know. im thinking it was short though, a 4 yr old boys mind is pretty restless and doesnt sit still for long. i dont think this was it though but ill see if i can find some clips.

aha! i found it! its a wonder what a day of pouring through internet information can do!
I believe it is a tales from the darkside episode called "ursa minor". now i need to somehow find out what season/ collection it is from so i can rent it/buy it somewhere.

It's from Season 2...Episode 10. Problem is, they're not available to buy so you'll have to download them somewhere. I have most of them but they are direct from tv and the picture and sound quality isn't that great. Good luck finding it!
