I had a dream last night in which near the end I was sitting in my living room eating a string-cheese-stick and I saw my cat, Marlboro, sitting on the footrest for the chair next to where I was sitting. it took me a few seconds to remember that she had been put to sleep back in Nebraska.. I went to the dining room and sat down in there (for reasons I don't remember) and Marlboro came in, along with the dogs again. they all pretty much sat in the same places from me as in the living room. I told Marlboro "come here, come here" and she stared at me for a few seconds, then walked over to the coffee table and plucked a string a few times on a guitar laying there. then I called her over again, and she disappeared. then I saw scratch marks forming on various parts of the wall near the floor. I looked at them for a few seconds and then woke up.

it was good to see her again though, after all this time.. my conscious mind had forgotten what exactly she looked like.
