You've probably heard it all before, bangs, bumps, doors slamming, well that's not as scary as whats happened to me...
It all started when one of our precious dogs, Izzy, died. Her liver failed because her body started attacking itself for reasons unknown, and as soon as we brought her ashes home and placed them on the desk in our hallway, our lives have changed a lot.
We have three dogs left now, Abby, Cassie and Tetley. Cassie and Tetley are Izzy's puppies. When I feed my dogs, they always stand looking in through the window of the door. (they live outside in a big shed-thing) Once they were inside because it was raining, as I pulled a tin of dog food down from the cupboard, a flash of yellow caught my eye, I turned and looked at the door, and there she was. Standing at the door like she always did, was Izzy. I blinked, and she vanished. I am telling the truth. Honestly. She was there and gone.
On other times, I have heard barking coming from downstairs, my dad also says he has heard the barking. But everytime he checks on Abby and the puppies, they are fast asleep. My dad admitted he has seen her scampering down our hallway towards the kitchen. And my sister Stacey, she had heard a dog panting in her bedroom, only to find nothing. My Mum refuses to admit anything strange, since she doesn't believe in ghosts or paranormal activity. Scott, my big brother, said he saw Izzy laying on the sofa in our Living room, before vanishing.

Now I better stop rambling. I've probably bored you now. But I'd like to know what you think of these things happening...

Welcome to HF Violator!
We are "unlike" all the other forums out there.
We are basically like a family and we are there for each other in times of good and bad.
Posts as such NEVER bore us so please continue to share!
I have a ghost too. I once saw a bird, which was not my bird, several times in my house and it even flew into my head.
I think it is heart warming that your dog still visits you in spirit form.
You are not only lucky in having this happen but you are lucky that your family believes you (except your mom since she has her own way of thinking about such) and that they too experience it!!

Wow that is awesome! Your dog stuck around because she cared, that's so sweet.

I wish I had a dog.
